Baby Power

Our little milk tick has gained almost a pound in two weeks. Go baby Natalie!

Fib Dibblers

So Geoff asked Elliot if he wanted a Fib Dibbler. Geoff often goes through a list with Elliot that grows increasingly more ridiculous. Elliot always says yes to the non-existant or impossible -- in this case the Fib Dibbler. Geoff decided to pull out my headbands. Elliot asked for the "Dibbler" for the next three days.

Day 11 a walk to the park with the family

Elliot did a hand print (to the right) for the tile mural at Wicker Park. He also has a fantastic fake smile, in my opinion. The double stroller is finally tested and seems to be well worth it. Hooray!

Day 10 with Grandma Bonnie

Grandma Bonnie stopped by with her college friend, Suzanne Cohen-Lange. We did get some terror stories from Suzanne involving teenage sitters (herself) and sibling jealousy. The jealousy resulting in the younger sibling being thrown down a laundry chute. Fortunately there was a lot of laundry in the basket below and the younger sibling thought it a hysterical ride.

Day 9 with Grandma Sue

So I sent Grandma Sue off on a packed commuter bus to Navy Pier -- ever the kind, considerate daughter. Gma Sue and Elliot went to the Children's Museum and as reported by Elliot had ice cream, most notably.

Natalie's cheeks are filling out. She continues to eat like a champ.

Day 8

My first day solo. No more narcotics for the mom. Hooray! We went over to Eva's house (the blonde girl). Elliot's buddy Zoe (brown hair) came over too. Big fun had by all.

Natalie is getting stronger -- sleeping, eating and pooping like a champ.

Grandpa Owie helps out day 7

It's Natalie's one week birthday! Grandpa Owie comes to help out.

The siblings get aquainted

Spiderman meets Natalie. "Hold one,"says Elliot when he wants to hold the baby.

Elliot tries out Natalie's bed

Elliot aka "Big Boy" dubs the bed Natalie's baby boat.

The proud pop

Geoff's pinky is the perfect pacifier for baby Nat.

Baby Natalie arrives

Babies! We love them. However, after a rushed emergency c-section where they got Natalie out in 5 minutes while Geoff waited outside the door, Geoff decides two babies is enough.

Natalie passes her first test (the Apgar) with flying colors (a 9). What does this mean? She's pink and her reflexes work. Let the parental bragging begin.
