Warren Dunes #3

We also climbed on the Gomez car and otherwise made menaces of ourselves. A big Saturday night downpour didn't dampen our spirits. (Still thrilled about getting a nice new 6 person tent this spring).

More Warren Dunes

Saturday morning began with the pilgrimage over the big dunes to the beach. EBD led the kids. Michael, Lars and I did our best to keep up with he, Piper, et al. On the beach, lots of building went on. However, at some point somebody did something to anger the gods and the wrath of Poseidon was furious. Ultimately, the children's fortifications were wiped from the face of the Earth.

Marshmallow fireballs, dog cages, tornadic sleeping boys (EBD ended up perpendicular to the rest of the family), roaming gangs of city kid thugs. Just another end of the year/Father's Day camping adventure at Warren Dunes.

Lesson learned: people over 40 who sleep in tents MUST own cots.
