75 and sunny. Two wins and four goals for the Dickinson kids. Julie got to come and then Nata took care of watering the new garden.

Saturday night BBQ and smores. Then apple picking and smoked fish.

First fall BBQ on Saturday night. Nice job scavenging for firewood by the kids. Sunday we headed to Garwood Orchards in Indiana again. This time the Mercs came along. It was a glorious fall day. Sunny and crisp.

We capped it off by hitting Calumet Fisheries on the way home. We picked up some smoked salmon, trout and shrimp.

Fun party. It got a little Lord of the Flies with the dead paper mache unicorn carcass. Nata was yelling "Eat the Unicorn meat!" at one point.

Pretty good timing to (mostly) finish the back garden. Nata's birthday turned into a mini-party when Grandma Bonnie, Suzy, Jonah and Kiki came by.
