Parc d'Oka #2

The kids found fresh water clams at the beach which was about the coolest thing ever. We grilled a few and left them for the massive raccoons that menaced the campsite. Also, finding out that a soft, slightly stinky cheese from Abbey Oka is popular with both kids and parents was a huge bonus.

Montreal #2

 

We spent much of the afternoon walking around the neighborhoods, checking out Hasids and ended the night at an Impact game. Not pictured, arriving at our camp site at midnight, in a torrential downpour with a 4" deep pond in front of the tent. High drama. Thank goodness we had a hatchet(it also proved useful for opening beers when the proper opener couldn't be found.)

Montreal and Parc d'Oka

 

We spent four nights camping at Parc d'Oka. We spent two full days on the beach and one long day in Montreal. It was neat to have break in the woods during our first urban vacation.

We were in room #21. This is a very important number for Elliot but I don't know why.
