Natalie's fifth birthday

 

It was a fancy singing princess birthday. Bakeable play dough was the first big event. Then we had lunch and cupcakes in the back garden. Julie's homemade pasta and Sweet Cakes cupcakes were big hits with kids and grown ups. Great presents finished the party.

 Grandpa Owie somehow managed to fix the laundry washer in the middle of the party as well.

We went and checked it out after Natalie's birthday and Elliot's soccer game. Perfect weather. Snobby coffee. Cute crafts. Ended the day with Picante and ice cream comes from Delish Diner. Pretty solid end to summer.

Under 8 soccer begins

 

Elliot's as yet unnamed team lost 9 - 0 in the opener. Could be a season of character building. On the plus side, no goals were given up in the quarter EBD was playing defense.

At least it was a beautiful day to hang by the lake for an hour or so.
