Veteran Acres in Crystal Lake, IL was the scene of many Schuerr family sledding trips. We his fresh powder on Christmas Eve. Bonnie and Bean even white knuckled it out to play with us from Evanston. We saw four white tailed deer in the woods.

Lunch was had at the Village Squire, another family favorite. Any place with bottomless popcorn is OK by me.
